Bibhutibhushan Bandyopadhyay ( 12th September , 1894 - 1st September , 1950 ) was a popular Indian Bengali fiction. He achieved fame mainly by writing novels and short stories. Pather Panchali and scored his best known novel. Among other novels, Aranyak , Ideal Hindu Hotel , Ichhamati and Ajni sign are particularly notable. Along with the novel, Bibhuti Bhushan also composed some 20 books, some adolescent novels, and a few travel stories and diaries.
