Badruddin Umar (born December 20 , 1931 ) is a famous Marxist in Bangladesh - Leninist theorists, intellectuals and educators. One of the best intellectuals of present Bangladesh He is basically a Marxist theoretical. There is also a political critic. Badruddin Umar's father's name is Abul Hashim and his mother's name is Mahmuda Akhtar Meherbanu Begum. In 1948, he passed the Entrance Examination from the Town School of Burdwan. He passed the Higher Secondary examination from Burdwan Raj College in 1950. He graduated in 1953 from the University of Dhaka . He obtained his postgraduate degree from Dhaka University in 1955 on philosophy.
