Kamal Hossain is a prominent lawyer, politician and freedom fighter of Bangladesh .He is commonly referred to as "Dr. Kamal Hossain". He is one of the founders of the Constitution of Bangladesh . In 1971, he crossed the border of Agartala and went to Pakistan instead of participating in the War of Liberation and went to Pakistan and started the law business there. A few months later the Pakistan government arrested him. After the establishment of Bangladesh, he was released with Sheikh Mujib on 8 January 1972 on 8 January 1972.
