Humayun Kabir (February 22, 1906-18 August, 1969) is an Indian Bengali educationist, politician, writer and philosopher. He was born in Faridpur , undivided Bengal , now in Bangladesh , in the village of Comrpur. He served as the Education Minister of India in two phases . In the first phase, Jawaharlal Nehru's cabinet and subsequently another one. He also served as Minister of Science and Cultural Affairs.District Magistrate Khan Bahadur Kabiruddin Ahmad is his father.
