Ahmad Chafa (June 30, 1943 - July 28, 2001) was a Bangladeshi writer, poet and sociologist. In his writings, recognition of Bangladeshi nationality has gained prominence. He won the Ekushey Padak posthumously in 2002 in literature .  In his lifetime, Ahmad Chhaa was specially in the intellectual field for his anti-traditional, generous and open-minded approach.He was born on 30 June 1943 in the village of Batbariya of Hashimpur Union under Chandanaish upazila of Chittagong . His father late Hedayet Ali alias Dhan Mia. Mother Late Mrs Asiya Khatun Ahmad Chafa was the second son of his two sons and four sons. আহমদ ছফা (জুন ৩০, ১৯৪৩ - জুলাই ২৮, ২০০১) একজন বাংলাদেশী লেখক, কবি ও সমাজবিজ্ঞানী ছিলেন। তাঁর লেখায় বাংলাদেশি জাতিসত্তার পরিচয় নির্ধারণ প্রাধান্য পেয়েছে। তিনি ২০০২ খ্রিস্টাব্দে সাহিত্যে মরণোত্তর একুশে পদক লাভ করেন। জীবদ্দশায় আহমদ ছফা তাঁর প্রথাবিরোধী, নির্মোহ, অকপট দৃষ্টিভঙ্গীর জন্য বুদ্ধজীবী মহলে বিশেষ আলোচিত ছিলেন।তাঁর জন্ম ১৯৪৩ খ্রিস্টাব্দের ৩০শে জুন চট্টগ্রামের চন্দনাইশ উপজেলার হাশিমপুর ইউনিয়নের গাছবাড়িয়া গ্রামে। তাঁর পিতা মরহুম হেদায়েত আলী ওরফে ধন মিয়া। মা মরহুমা আসিয়া খাতুন। দুই ভাই চার বোনের মধ্যে আহমদ ছফা ছিলেন বাবা-মার দ্বিতীয় সন্তান। About More..
