Anisuzzaman (born 18 February 1937 ) is an eminent educationist and writer of Bangladesh . He is Professor of Bangla Language and Literature of Dhaka University. He immediately 1971 on the liberation war of Bangladesh took part. His research on the history of Bangla literature is quite remarkable. He is also an Emeritus professor. 

Anisuzzaman was born on February 18, 1937 in Basirhat in 24 Pargna district of West Bengal. His father's name is ATM Moazzem. He was a renowned Homoeo doctor. Although Maa Syeda Khatun was a housewife, she had a habit of writing. Grandfather Sheikh Abdur Rahim was a writer and journalist. Anisuzzaman was the brother of five. Anisuzzaman of three sisters, then another brother. Big sisters also used to write regular poems. It is said that their families were rich in art-literary-cultural heritage.

আনিসুজ্জামান (জন্ম ১৮ ফেব্রুয়ারি ১৯৩৭) বাংলাদেশের প্রখ্যাত শিক্ষাবিদ ও লেখক। তিনি ঢাকা বিশ্ববিদ্যালয়ের বাংলা ভাষা ও সাহিত্যের অধ্যাপক। তিনি প্রত্যক্ষভাবে ১৯৭১-এ বাংলাদেশের মুক্তিযুদ্ধে অংশগ্রহণ করেছিলেন। বাংলা সাহিত্যের ইতিহাস নিযে তাঁর গবেষণা সবিশেষ উল্লেখযোগ্য। এছাড়াও তিনি একজন ইমেরিটাস অধ্যাপক।

আনিসুজ্জামান ১৯৩৭ খ্রিষ্টাব্দের ১৮ ফেব্রুয়ারি পশ্চিমবঙ্গের ২৪ পরগনা জেলার বসিরহাটে জন্মগ্রহণ করেন। তাঁর বাবার নাম এ টি এম মোয়াজ্জেম। তিনি ছিলেন বিখ্যাত হোমিও চিকিৎসক। মা সৈয়দা খাতুন গৃহিনী হলেও লেখালেখির অভ্যাস ছিল। পিতামহ শেখ আবদুর রহিম ছিলেন লেখক ও সাংবাদিক। আনিসুজ্জামানরা ছিলেন পাঁচ ভাই-বোন। তিন বোনের ছোট আনিসুজ্জামান, তারপর আরেকটি ভাই। বড় বোনও নিয়মিত কবিতা লিখতেন। বলা যায়, শিল্প-সাহিত্য-সাংস্কৃতিক ঐতিহ্যসমৃদ্ধ ছিল তাঁদের পরিবার।
