Faiz Ahmed (born 2 May , 1928 - Death: 20 February, 2012 ), the country 's leading journalists , writers , politicians and cultural figures . At the end of World War II , when the retired British troops set camps in Dhaka in present-day Bangladesh , they worked as a young engineer and pilot at a camp in Banani, Dhaka city. After establishing Pakistan as an independent state in 1947 , he joined the Communist Party and got involved in active politics.Founded in 1952, he was the first editor of the open-minded and non-communal progressive writers' organization, Pakistan Sahitya Sangsad. He actively participated in the movement of East Pakistan in East Pakistan and in 1971 Bangladesh's independence movement. He introduced the Bengali language on Peking Radio . He is the founding editor of Bangladesh Sangbad Sangstha . He is renowned as a children's language literary in Bengali. The number of his published books is hundred. He was closely associated with the cultural activities of Bangladesh.

ফয়েজ আহমদ (জন্ম: ২ মে,১৯২৮ - মৃত্যু: ২০ ফেব্রুয়ারি ২০১২) বাংলাদেশের প্রথম সারির সাংবাদিক, সাহিত্যিক, রাজনীতিবিদ ও সাংস্কৃতিক ব্যক্তিত্ব। দ্বিতীয় বিশ্বযুদ্ধের শেষভাগে পলায়নমুখী পশ্চাদগামী ব্রিটিশ সৈন্যরা যখন বর্তমান বাংলাদেশের ঢাকায় ক্যাম্প স্থাপন করেছিল, তখন ঢাকা নগরীর বনানীস্থ একটি ক্যাম্পে তরুণ প্রকৌশলী তথা পাইলট হিসেবে শিক্ষানবিসের কাজ করেছিলেন। ১৯৪৭-এ স্বাধীন রাষ্ট্র হিসাবে পাকিস্তান প্রতিষ্ঠার পর তিনি কম্যুনিস্ট পার্টিতে যোগ দিয়ে সক্রিয় রাজনীতিতে জড়িয়ে পড়েন। ১৯৫২ সালে প্রতিষ্ঠিত মুক্ত চিন্তা ও অসাম্প্রদায়িক প্রগতিশীল লেখকদের সংগঠন পাকিস্তান সাহিত্য সংসদের প্রথম সম্পাদক ছিলেন। তিনি পূর্ব পাকিস্তানের স্বাধিকার আন্দোলনে এবং ১৯৭১-এ বাংলাদেশের স্বাধীনতা যুদ্ধে সক্রিয়ভাবে অংশগ্রহণ করেছিলেন। তিনি পিকিং রেডিওতে বাংলা ভাষায় অনুষ্ঠান প্রবর্তন করেন। তিনি বাংলাদেশ সংবাদ সংস্থার প্রতিষ্ঠাতা প্রধান সম্পাদক। তিনি বাংলা ভাষার শিশুতোষ সাহিত্যিক হিসাবে খ্যাতিমান। তাঁর প্রকাশিত গ্রন্থের সংখ্যা শতাধিক। তিনি বাংলাদেশের তাবৎ সাংস্কৃতিক কর্মকাণ্ডের সঙ্গে ঘনিষ্ঠভাবে জড়িত ছিলেন।
