Manik Bandyopadhyay ( May 19 , 1908 - December 3 , 1956 ) was an Indian Bengali fiction. His real name is Prabodhakumar Bandyopadhyay . After World War I, Manik Bandyopadhyay was one of the most influential people of the world, in a very critical period of human values in the field of Bangla Bangla-Sahitya literature. The main content of his composition was the artificiality of the middle class society, the struggles of working people, destiny etc. Freudian psychotherapy and MarxianHe was deeply influenced by class theory which reflected in his writings. He wrote biological tales of over two hundred short stories and hundreds of short stories. His compositions are considered as one of the best sources of Bangla literature, such as the compilation of his well-known puppet novels , poetry of the day, poetry of the Padma river , novel and exotic , prehistoric , passenger of Chhotabakulpur etc. Apart from English, his works have been translated into many foreign languages.
